Jaquith Industries manufacturers of “Vega” Frangible Airport Equipment highlights the Fiberglass Frangible Approach Mast. These mast have been tested by the FAA and are the only masts approved to specification FAA-E2702. Ground mounted applications are available from 6 ft. to 40 ft. Platform mounted mast are also available.
Jaquith also manufactures the F.A.M frangible lighting mast. Originally designed by the Swedish Board of Civil Aviation, it is strong and durable enough to withstand the elements yet collapses on impact. These mast have been tested by the FAA and is the only approach mast of its kind which is approved under FAA-E-2604 and FAA AC150/5346-45 and the U.S Military USAF 8814. The F.A.M is designed to withstand 100 mph wind or 75 mph with 1/2” ice coating. Ground mounting applications are available from 6 ft. to 40 ft.
